Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control (QC) Technician to join a growing medical device manufacturing team. In this role, you will inspect components and finished products to ensure they meet strict quality standards. The ideal candidate has experience working in a manufacturing, laboratory, or cleanroom environment and is comfortable using precision measurement tools and interpreting engineering drawings.
Schedule:
Full-time temporary position with the potential for permanent hire
Monday – Friday
2nd Shift: 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Responsibilities
Perform dimensional and visual inspections of components and finished products according to established quality procedures.
Utilize precision measuring equipment including calipers, micrometers, and optical comparators to verify product specifications.
Identify, document, and report nonconforming materials in accordance with quality standards.
Maintain accurate inspection records and ensure full product traceability.
Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.
Support investigations related to quality issues and assist with non-conformance documentation (NCRs).
Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant work area in accordance with manufacturing and cleanroom standards.
Communicate inspection results and quality concerns to production and quality teams.
Follow all safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
Technical training or equivalent experience in quality inspection, manufacturing, or a related field preferred.
Experience in a manufacturing, laboratory, or cleanroom environment.
Proficiency using precision measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and comparators.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.
Experience documenting inspection results and non-conformance reports (NCRs).
Basic proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other computer applications.
Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Self-motivated with a commitment to producing high-quality work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
