Our client, a leader in the medical device industry, has an immediate opening for a QC Inspector. This role will inspect incoming, in-process, finished parts and materials for conformance to quality control standards.

Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret prints
• Initiate and participate in the resolution of non-conformance reports (NCMR’s)
• Perform 100% inspections on First Articles and final inspections
• Other responsibilities as assigned

Requirements:

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience
• 3+ years of experience performing inspection within an FDA or other regulated environment
• DCO generation
• Proficient in the use of hand measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, etc.
• Working knowledge of optical comparators
• Familiarity with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing
• Willingness and ability to embrace new inspection tools and methodology
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Oracle experience a plus
• GD&T certification a plus
• Knowledge of tool calibration and tracking of tools
• CMM experience, operating and/or programming, OGP preferred
• Familiarity with FARO Arm CMM
