Description
What You’ll Do
- Inspect, test, and troubleshoot medical device products to ensure compliance with product specifications and quality standards.
- Perform chassis and final product assembly, including wire crimping, soldering, and minor sub-assembly fabrication.
- Follow assembly fixtures, work instructions, procedures, and quality documentation to support accurate production.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, assembly instructions, and hardware requirements.
- Use testing equipment such as oscilloscopes, frequency generators, power supplies, multi-meters, flow meters, pull testers, and microscopes.
- Complete required documentation in compliance with Good Documentation Practices (GDP), ISO 13485, and 21 CFR 820 standards.
- Partner with production teams to meet customer delivery schedules while maintaining the highest quality standards.
- Identify quality, process, equipment, or material issues and support continuous improvement efforts.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
- Assist with additional projects and responsibilities as needed.
What You Bring
- 2–5 years of experience in a regulated manufacturing environment; ISO 13485 experience preferred.
- Associate degree, technical certification, or equivalent hands-on experience preferred.
- Experience with PCBA and electro-mechanical assembly, inspection, testing, troubleshooting, and repair.
- Ability to read mechanical drawings, schematics, bills of materials, and technical documentation.
- Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and time management skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate in a cross-functional team environment.
