PCB Soldering Technician (SMT)

Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled PCB Soldering Technician to support high-volume SMT production. This role will focus primarily on soldering surface mount components, ensuring quality workmanship in accordance with IPC standards. The ideal candidate has strong hands-on soldering experience and working knowledge of IPC-A-610 requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform precision soldering of SMT components on printed circuit boards (PCBs)
• Rework and repair SMT assemblies as needed
• Inspect solder joints to ensure compliance with quality standards
• Interpret work instructions, schematics, and assembly drawings
• Maintain ESD-safe work practices and proper handling of sensitive components
• Support production deadlines while maintaining high workmanship standards

Qualifications:

• 1+ year of hands-on SMT soldering experience (99% of role is soldering)
• Knowledge of IPC-A-610 standards; certification strongly preferred
• Experience with fine-pitch components and microscope work
• Strong attention to detail and quality-focused mindset
• Ability to work independently in a production environment

Preferred:

• IPC-A-610 Certification (current or previously held)
• Experience in electronics manufacturing or contract manufacturing environments
