Description
Our client, a recognized leader in the therapeutics industry, has an immediate opening for a Packaging Operator. This role will operate within the framework of the company’s Quality System, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and procedural requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in initiatives and projects that support company growth and continuous improvement efforts
- Perform packaging operations in accordance with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), including visual inspection, pouching, labeling, and cartoning (manual and automated)
- Execute room sanitization procedures to uphold controlled environment standards
- Accurately document activities using Good Documentation Practices (GDP)
- Report procedural deviations and non-conformances promptly to management
- Maintain up-to-date training on all assigned procedures, including classroom training, skill development, and documentation reviews
- Complete tasks efficiently with a focus on quality, safety, and cost-effectiveness
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required; relevant industry experience may be considered in lieu of education
- Minimum of 6 months of hands-on experience working on a packaging or production line in a regulated environment (pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, etc.)
- Strong English communication skills—both written and verbal
- Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime, to meet production demands
- Proficient with basic computer tasks, including data entry and spreadsheet maintenance
