Description
Key Responsibilities
Assemble complex automated machinery, systems, and sub-assemblies from mechanical drawings, blueprints, and schematics
Install pneumatic, hydraulic, and basic electrical components
Collaborate with engineering, controls, and manufacturing teams to ensure equipment functions per specifications
Perform mechanical troubleshooting, alignment, and precision adjustment of moving components
Assist in testing, debugging, and system startup activities
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Support field service teams with equipment installation and commissioning when required
Qualifications
Requires a high school diploma or GED; a technical certification or associate’s degree is preferred and 5+ years of experience building automated machinery, packaging equipment, or industrial systems.
Strong knowledge of mechanical assembly, pneumatics, and mechanical troubleshooting
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, mechanical prints, and pneumatic schematics
Proficient with hand tools, precision measuring devices, and power tools
Experience with robotics or motion systems (preferred)
Familiarity with our design software (Inventor and Vault) or just CAD experience (preferred)
