Position Overview
Finish Line Staffing Services is seeking experienced Mechatronics Technicians to build, assemble, troubleshoot, and test custom automated machinery. This hands-on opportunity is ideal for skilled technicians with strong mechanical expertise and experience building complex automation systems from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and assemble custom automated machinery and mechanical systems from scratch.
- Interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, and engineering schematics.
- Install and integrate mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and basic electrical components.
- Perform precision alignment, adjustments, and mechanical troubleshooting.
- Disassemble, rebuild, test, and debug complex automated equipment.
- Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure equipment meets specifications.
- Support machine testing, startup, and commissioning activities.
- Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work environment.
Qualifications
- 4–10 years of hands-on machine-building or mechanical assembly experience.
- Direct experience building custom automated machinery from the ground up is required.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with expertise in machine assembly, troubleshooting, and testing.
- Ability to independently assemble, disassemble, and rebuild complete mechanical systems.
- Proficiency in reading mechanical drawings, blueprints, and pneumatic schematics.
- Experience using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring equipment.
- Basic electrical knowledge is beneficial; strong mechanical experience is essential.
- Experience with robotics, motion systems, or industrial automation preferred.
- Familiarity with CAD software, Autodesk Inventor, or Vault is a plus.
- High school diploma or GED required; technical certification or associate's degree preferred.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive pay up to $32/hour.
- Approximately 6-month temp-to-perm opportunity.
