Description
The Manufacturing Technician operates production equipment in a high-volume, regulated cleanroom environment to manufacture medical implants and components. This role ensures quality, accuracy, and compliance while meeting daily production targets in accordance with GMP and ISO standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and perform routine maintenance on manufacturing and packaging equipment (including clean line systems and pouch sealers).
- Perform cleaning, inspection, assembly, pouching/sealing, and labeling activities within a controlled cleanroom setting.
- Accurately document work in accordance with Good Documentation Practices and record transactions in the ERP system.
- Support inventory cycle counts, variance investigations, and reconciliation activities.
- Assist with investigations and corrective actions related to product or process issues.
- Maintain strict adherence to GMP, ISO standards, SOPs, PPE requirements, and safety regulations.
- Ensure manufacturing areas remain clean, organized, and audit-ready at all times.
- Review manufacturing documentation and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; experience in a medical device or regulated cleanroom environment preferred.
- Familiarity with ERP systems (Oracle or similar) and Microsoft Office.
- Working knowledge of ISO standards and Good Manufacturing Practices.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
