Description
Our client, a leader in wearable medical technologies, is seeking a Medical Device IT Support Specialist to provide Tier 1 technical support for a device currently in clinical trials. This position requires a blend of technical expertise, empathy, and precise documentation to ensure a seamless user experience within a regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide Level 1 technical support to users of a wearable medical device during active clinical studies
- Troubleshoot and resolve device and connectivity issues with professionalism and accuracy
- Document all user interactions and resolutions in accordance with clinical and regulatory compliance standards
- Collaborate with internal technical and clinical teams to escalate issues as needed
- Work independently and proactively, ensuring timely follow-up and clear communication with users
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of professional experience in technical support, IT helpdesk, or customer service roles
- Experience in medical device or clinical trial settings is highly preferred
- Strong documentation, communication, and follow-through abilities
- Empathetic and patient approach to user interaction, with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work in a structured, compliance-driven environment
