Quality Control Technician

Our client, a medical device company, has an immediate opening for a Facilities Quality Control Technician.

Responsibilities:

• Inspect incoming parts and  in-process and assembled devices to ensure quality is within set parameters
• Respect and enforce the principles of full traceability for products and components
• Collaborate with the Quality Engineering and R&D Engineering departments as needed to assist in the validation of components/finished goods
• Maintain clean and organized work areas

Requirements:

• Technical associate’s degree; or 1-3+ years of equivalent education and professional experience
• Motivated and looking to grow professionally in a fast-paced environment
• Strong analytical skills and excellent knowledge of theoretical and practical quality control fundamentals
• Experience with calipers, comparators, and micrometers
• Experience utilizing blueprints and/or drawings as part of the inspection process
• Experience in lab and/or manufacturing environments
• A highly organized, detailed-oriented self-starter
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
