Overview:
The Electroplating Technician performs a wide range of plating processes to achieve specified finishes on various metal parts in accordance with standardized methods and procedures. This role involves working with drawings, specifications, and work instructions to ensure high-quality results while maintaining safety, solution integrity, and proper documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute electroplating operations to specified standards and finishes.
- Maintain plating solutions and chemistry according to established formulas.
- Inspect and prepare parts prior to and after plating to ensure optimal results.
- Identify and reject parts that do not meet quality standards.
- Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and specifications.
- Perform routine checks and maintenance of plating tanks and related equipment.
- Follow all safety protocols and handle hazardous chemicals with care.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Qualifications:
- Previous plating experience required.
- Comfortable using Excel, Outlook, Word, and manufacturing software.
- Physically able to lift and move 30–40 lb boxes regularly.
- Proficient in English (written and verbal).
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and comfort operating manufacturing machinery.
- High school diploma or GED (minimum).
Preferred (Non-Essential) Experience:
- Background in the jewelry manufacturing industry.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles.
