Description
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electronics Tester to join our clients production team. In this role, you will perform routine electronic and mechanical assembly, inspection, and testing tasks, following detailed written and verbal instructions. This position is ideal for someone with hands-on technical skills, a commitment to quality, and an interest in precision manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform assembly and testing operations on electronic and mechanical components.
- Conduct RF and electronic testing using a variety of precision instruments.
- Follow detailed work instructions and standard operating procedures to ensure consistent results.
- Utilize equipment such as microscopes, soldering irons, pliers, wire strippers, wrenches, and screwdrivers.
- Operate measurement and diagnostic tools including calipers, micrometers, multimeters, oscilloscopes, and spectrum analyzers.
- Verify quality and workmanship by inspecting completed assemblies and ensuring compliance with specifications.
- Perform additional duties as required to support production goals.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; technical school certificate or associate degree preferred.
- 0–5 years of experience in electronics assembly or testing within a manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) safety practices is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and production prints.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to perform quality self-checks.
- U.S. Citizenship required; must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Defense Security Clearance.
