Description
Finish Line Staffing is partnering with one of our valued clients to hire an experienced Electronics Technician. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong electrical assembly background who enjoys building, wiring, and troubleshooting custom control panels in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities
- Build and wire electrical control panels, junction boxes, and subassemblies according to customer specifications.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, diagrams, bills of material, work orders, and specifications.
- Drill and tap holes to mount electrical components and create openings for wiring and instrumentation.
- Complete point-to-point wiring and install electrical components including:
- PLCs
- Relays
- Switches
- Indicator lights
- Additional control devices
- Assemble finished panels and install completed assemblies into cabinets and enclosures.
- Utilize hand tools including wire strippers, crimpers, screwdrivers, wrenches, pliers, drills, and other assembly tools.
- Perform basic fabrication tasks such as deburring, grinding, and sawing.
- Red-line documentation as needed to support Engineering Change Orders (ECOs).
- Move materials throughout the facility using manual pallet jacks.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Work overtime as needed to support production schedules.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Technical Certificate in Electrical Controls preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience building and wiring electrical control panels.
- Experience with point-to-point wiring.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
- Understanding of electrical currents and electrical assembly principles.
- Experience drilling, tapping, and assembling electrical panels using a variety of hand tools.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and experience with control panel installation.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Highly motivated with a commitment to producing quality work.
