Electromechanical Technician

Our client, a producer of battery solutions for the maritime market, has an immediate opening for an Electromechanical Technician. This role will assemble electromechanical batteries in accordance with engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions.

Responsibilities:

• Assemble electromechanical batteries and sub-assemblies by following detailed work instructions, technical drawings, and prints
• Perform soldering tasks to connect wires, components, and other parts as required
• Ensure that assemblies meet the required quality standards and tolerances
• Conduct basic electrical testing and troubleshooting during the assembly process
• Interpret and follow engineering drawings, blueprints, and schematics to determine assembly requirements
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, and other equipment to perform assembly tasks
• Maintain an organized work area and properly store and handle parts and components
• Complete documentation for work performed, including assembly logs and testing records
• Collaborate with team members and departments to achieve production goals and deadlines
• Adhere to safety protocols and company policies
• Use pressurized dead weight systems to calibrate products and conduct final tests

Requirements:

• Proficient in point to point wiring techniques
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and dexterity for working with small components
