Job Description:

Our client, a recognized leader in the medical device industry, is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Inventory/Material Control Coordinator to join their dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional to contribute to a company at the forefront of innovation and quality in healthcare solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the objectives, mission, and daily operations of the Production department.
  • Prioritize, plan, and adjust work activities in response to evolving demands.
  • Manage production priorities on the manufacturing floor and in the SLS (Selective Laser Sintering) room.
  • Coordinate the shipment of castings to external suppliers.
  • Oversee special insert jobs throughout the production process.
  • Track and follow up on Non-Conforming Material Reports (NCMRs).
  • Collaborate with the Material Control Analyst to validate and recount daily cycle counts.
  • Prepare and kit jobs for production.
  • Execute job and material transactions on the production floor.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED required; equivalent work experience will be considered.
  • 1–3 years of warehouse or materials management experience.
  • Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems; Oracle experience preferred.
  • Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Demonstrated experience in expediting, quality/continuous improvement, and manufacturing safety practices.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Effective organizational, time management, and analytical abilities.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Comfortable working in variable environmental conditions (e.g., reduced lighting, increased noise, temperature shifts, or odors).
  • Awareness of workplace hazards and compliance with FDA and other regulatory safety standards.
