Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate / Shipping & Receiving Specialist to support daily operations within a regulated medical product environment. This role manages the full lifecycle of materials including receiving, storage, inventory control, picking, packing, and shipping and plays a key role in maintaining product accuracy, traceability, and customer satisfaction.
The ideal candidate has experience in medical device, pharmaceutical, or other regulated industries, and thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage and execute the receipt, storage, distribution, and shipment of medical products.
• Pick parts accurately for production orders and perform regular cycle counts to maintain inventory integrity.
• Follow the First In, First Out (FIFO) method for raw materials and finished goods.
• Receive deliveries, verify counts, inspect for damage, and enter data into the MRP system.
• Document and report damaged shipments, quantity discrepancies, and other nonconformances.
• Deliver received materials to proper storage areas and pull finished devices to fulfill customer orders.
• Pack customer orders securely to prevent damage during transit.
• Prepare and process shipping documentation for UPS, FedEx, DHL, freight, and other carriers.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient warehouse workspace.
• Collaborate with and support other internal departments as needed.
Physical Requirements
• Ability to handle and manipulate small parts.
• Frequent sitting, standing, walking, lifting, and carrying.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 70 lbs.
Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in all documentation and material handling.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic proficiency in mathematics, data entry, and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in medical device, pharmaceutical, or other regulated manufacturing environments is a plus.
• Experience operating material handling equipment (pallet jacks, carts, lifts) and/or cleanroom experience is a plus.
