TPU Account Manager / Senior Account Manager
Location: USA (Remote – Midwest preferred: OH, MI; Southeast preferred: TN, NC, SC, GA; also open to FL or TX)
About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated, entrepreneurial Sales Manager to drive growth of a Thermoplastic Polyurethane (TPU) product line across the U.S. market. This role is ideal for a self-starter with strong B2B technical sales experience in TPU, TPEs, elastomers, or engineering polymers.
You will be responsible for building and expanding the customer base across key industries including automotive, footwear, wire & cable, industrial, and medical applications. This is a high-impact role offering significant autonomy and the opportunity to shape market development in a growing business.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and grow TPU sales across the U.S. market
- Identify and build long-term relationships with OEMs, converters, compounders, and distributors
- Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation through sampling, trials, and commercial closure
- Serve as the customer interface for technical and commercial coordination with internal R&D teams
- Lead pricing, forecasting, market analysis, and competitor tracking
- Represent the business at trade shows and industry events (up to 40–50% travel)
Requirements
- 5+ years of B2B technical sales experience in TPU, TPEs, elastomers, or engineering polymers
- Proven ability to develop new markets and build strong customer relationships
- Existing network within OEMs, converters, distributors, or compounders preferred
- Strong understanding of technical sales cycles and application-based selling
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a high level of ownership and initiative
