Job Summary

Our client is seeking a Technical Training Specialist to support manufacturing operations by developing, coordinating, and delivering comprehensive technical training programs. This role is critical to ensuring employees at all levels have the knowledge and skills needed to perform their work safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.

Primary Responsibilities & Duties

  • Develop, implement, and maintain technical training programs for manufacturing and production staff

  • Coordinate and manage training schedules to align with operational needs and employee availability

  • Deliver hands-on and classroom-based training on equipment, processes, safety protocols, and quality standards

  • Evaluate training effectiveness and continuously improve training materials, methods, and delivery

  • Maintain accurate training records and ensure compliance with company and regulatory requirements

  • Collaborate with department leaders, Human Resources, and subject matter experts to assess training needs and develop solutions

  • Support onboarding of new hires through technical orientation and job-specific instruction

  • Assist in the development and maintenance of standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and training aids

Qualifications

  • Four (4) or more years of experience in manufacturing or technical training roles within a fast-paced manufacturing environment

  • Proven experience as a Training Administrator, Training Coordinator, or in a similar role

  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment, quality standards, and safety regulations

  • Hands-on experience with assembly, crimping, and soldering techniques, including terminals and thru-hole components; IPC certification is considered an asset

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint; experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and e-learning tools preferred

  • Ability to adapt training programs to diverse learning styles and skill levels using instructional design principles and adult learning theory

  • Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills

  • Highly organized with strong time management skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
