Description

Overview
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Stockroom Clerk to support first-shift operations within their Marlborough, MA facility. This role is essential to maintaining accurate inventory, ensuring timely material flow, and supporting both operational and service teams. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive Purchase Orders and route materials as directed by the Warehouse Management System (WMS), ensuring physical counts match documentation.

  • Pick orders for Sales and Service teams, delivering materials to designated areas within the facility.

  • Enter data and maintain accurate records in the WMS.

  • Perform daily cycle counts to support inventory accuracy.

  • Provide backup support to the Shipping Department during absences.

  • Move materials throughout stocking locations to maintain efficient workflow.

  • Assist with general housekeeping in the Stockroom and Warehouse.

  • Respond to internal communications promptly and professionally.

  • Monitor MRO inventory and report low-stock items to the supervisor.

  • Issue materials to the Service Team and assemble mid-level component orders.

  • Complete daily cycle count tasks as assigned.

  • Ensure compliance with SOPs, ISO standards, and all safety requirements.

  • Safely handle, store, and move a wide range of components.

  • Accurately process inventory transactions and material movements.

  • Perform additional related duties as assigned by Management.

Qualifications

Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

Experience & Skills

  • 1–3 years of related stockroom, warehouse, or material handling experience.

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments and organizational levels.

  • Accurate counting and safe handling of items of various sizes and weights.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).

  • Familiarity with Windows and Android operating systems.

  • Strong attention to detail, reliability, and ability to follow established processes.
