Description
Our client, a leader in the oil and gas industry, has an immediate opening for a Sales Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Drive sales growth of products across the U.S., focusing on target applications: automotive, industrial goods, footwear, wire & cable, and medical
- Identify, engage, and develop relationships with OEMs, converters, compounders, and distributors, converting leads into long-term strategic customers
- Manage the full customer development lifecycle: from initial contact and product sampling to technical trials and commercial closure
- Collaborate with Istanbul-based R&D and technical teams to support application development and provide tailored solutions
- Own all commercial activities in the region, including pricing, forecasting, competitor analysis, and market intelligence
- Represent the product at key trade shows, conferences, and industry events throughout the U.S. (up to 50% travel)
Requirements:
- Minimum of 10 years of B2B sales experience, preferably within TPU, TPEs, elastomers, or specialty polymers
- Strong entrepreneurial mindset and ability to work independently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Proven ability to lead market entry efforts and manage strategic customer relationships
- Established network within target industries (OEMs, compounders, converters, or distributors)
- Experience managing complex technical sales cycles and supporting customer application needs
- Willingness to travel up to 40–50% across the U.S.
- Excellent communication skills with both commercial and technical fluency
- Fluent in English; proficiency in Spanish or another regional language is a plus
