Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Inspector to support inspection activities across incoming, in-process, and finished products within a regulated manufacturing environment. This role is critical in ensuring all components meet required quality, accuracy, and compliance standards. The ideal candidate brings strong metrology skills, experience working with precision measurement tools, and a proactive approach to continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
• Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections to verify compliance with specifications and quality standards.
• Conduct and document First Article Inspections (FAI) and final inspections in accordance with customer and regulatory requirements.
• Interpret and verify engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T requirements.
• Utilize precision measurement instruments including calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, height gauges, and optical comparators.
• Identify, document, and process nonconformances (NCMRs) and assist with root-cause analysis when required.
• Maintain accurate and compliant inspection, calibration, and quality records.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality, efficiency, and process control.
Qualifications
• High School Diploma required; Associate degree in a technical field preferred.
• 3+ years of quality inspection experience in an FDA-regulated, medical device, aerospace, or precision manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with hand measuring tools and metrology equipment.
• Experience with CMM operation or programming preferred (OGP, FARO Arm, or similar systems).
• Strong understanding of GD&T, DCO generation, and basic Statistical Process Control (SPC).
• Experience using Oracle or other ERP/MRP systems is a plus.
