Description
Our client, an early-stage investment casting startup, has an immediate opening for a Production Technician. This position will perform each step of the foundry process, including working with machines and/or manual operation.
Responsibilities:
- Follow work instructions and procedures to maintain process and quality control
- Measure process parameters and adjust controls and recipes as needed
- Ensure compliance with all EHSC protocols to protect oneself, the team, and the environment
- Work closely with other team members and supervisors to ensure efficient operation and continuous improvement
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of manufacturing (or similar) work experience
- Experience 3D printing (including post processing) with SLA or DLP machines
- Experience using computers and other technology in a manufacturing environment
- Strong commitment to working safely, productively, and compliantly
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to repeatedly lift 50 lbs. from the ground to 4 ft. high
- Experience in a regulated manufacturing environment (ISO, AS9100, FDA GMP, etc.) preferred
- Understanding of Lean Manufacturing concepts, especially 5S and single-piece flow, preferred
