
Description
Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
As a Plater, you will perform routine tasks related to the electroplating of parts and assemblies under moderate supervision.
Primary Equipment Used:

Ultrasonic cleaner

Vapor degreaser
-
Plating tanks
Key Responsibilities:
-
Operate and monitor electroplating processes to ensure proper coating and finish.

Prepare parts for plating, including cleaning and pre-treatment.

Maintain and monitor plating and cleaning solutions by performing carbon treating and filtering as directed.

Conduct chemical cleaning of parts using established procedures.

Inspect parts post-cleaning to ensure compliance with quality specifications.

Utilize X-ray equipment to verify plating thickness according to requirements.

Follow all safety, environmental, and operational procedures.

Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED required.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in chemical cleaning and processing within an electroplating operation.

U.S. Citizenship required.
-
Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Defense Security Clearance.
