Description
Our client, a recognized leader in the therapeutics industry, is currently seeking a Packaging Operator to join their dynamic team on the first and second shift. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a growing organization committed to quality, innovation, and patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate within the framework of the company’s Quality System, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and procedural requirements.
- Participate in initiatives and projects that support company growth and continuous improvement efforts.
- Perform packaging operations in accordance with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), including visual inspection, pouching, labeling, and cartoning (manual and automated).
- Execute room sanitization procedures to uphold controlled environment standards.
- Accurately document activities using Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
- Report procedural deviations and non-conformances promptly to management.
- Maintain up-to-date training on all assigned procedures, including classroom training, skill development, and documentation reviews.
- Complete tasks efficiently with a focus on quality, safety, and cost-effectiveness.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED equivalent required; relevant industry experience may be considered in lieu of education.
- Minimum of 6 months of hands-on experience working on a packaging or production line in a regulated environment (pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, etc.).
- Strong English communication skills—both written and verbal.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime, to meet production demands.
- Proficient with basic computer tasks, including data entry and spreadsheet maintenance.
