Operator Technician- Sterilization Services

Overview:
We are hiring on behalf of our client for a reliable and motivated Operations Technician to join their sterilization team. This role is well-suited for candidates with a trade school background who are interested in working in a regulated, technical environment.

The Operations Technician will support daily sterilization processes, equipment operation, and ensure compliance with industry and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor sterilization equipment and systems in accordance with established procedures
• Perform routine inspections, basic troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance on equipment
• Accurately document process data, batch records, and operational logs
• Follow all safety protocols and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards
• Assist with loading and unloading materials and preparing products for sterilization cycles
• Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant work environment
• Support internal and external audits and inspections, including occasional interaction with regulatory agencies such as the FDA and EPA

Qualifications:

• Trade school education preferred (mechanical, electrical, or related technical field)
• Basic electrical knowledge or a strong willingness to learn
• 1–2 years of experience in a manufacturing, operations, or regulated environment preferred
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written procedures
• Valid driver’s license required
• Effective communication and teamwork skills
• Comfortable working in a compliance-driven, regulated environment
