Position Overview
Our client is seeking a New Process Implementation (NPI) Technician to support the introduction and processing of new products, quick-turn builds, prototypes, and other non-standard manufacturing projects that fall outside of routine production. This role plays a key part in ensuring new processes are manufacturable, efficient, and compliant with quality standards.
Key Responsibilities

Read and interpret blueprints, bills of materials (BOMs), and wire diagrams

Support new product introductions, prototypes, and non-standard builds

Define, create, and maintain documentation to support manufacturability

Design and build test fixtures and harness boards to improve manufacturing efficiency

Perform soldering and assembly tasks in accordance with industry standards

Apply hands-on knowledge of:

Utilize basic computer applications, including Microsoft Word and Excel

Safely and properly use rulers, hand tools, and related equipment
Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years of related experience

Working knowledge of Cable Eye, Cirrus, and Hi-Pot systems, including:

Programming
-
Customization
-
Setup
-

Familiarity with tools and machinery used to prepare wire and cable for final assembly, including both manual and automatic equipment

Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a cross-functional team

Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and quality

Effective verbal communication skills

Ability to maintain a steady work pace while producing high-quality results
