Position Overview
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Mechanical Packager & Tester to join their team on a contract basis. In this role, you will perform routine assembly and testing operations, supporting production efficiency and product quality. This is a hands-on opportunity for individuals with technical aptitude and a strong commitment to accuracy.
Key Responsibilities

Perform routine electronic and mechanical assembly and testing operations based on written and verbal instructions.

Complete assembly processes including wiring, mechanical assembly, and RF testing.

Operate assembly tools such as microscopes, soldering irons, cutters, pliers, wrenches, screwdrivers, bending tools, crimpers, and wire strippers.

Use measurement and testing tools including calipers, drop gauges, micrometers, multimeters, oscilloscopes, and spectrum analyzers.

Ensure accuracy, quality, and conformance by checking your own work.

Follow all safety and ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) protocols.

Support production operations by performing additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Education: High School Diploma or GED required; technical school degree/certificate preferred.

Experience: 0–5 years of relevant experience in manufacturing assembly and testing.

Experience in an ESD-controlled environment is a plus.

Ability to read and interpret production prints and documentation.

Strong attention to detail with the ability to perform self-checks for quality and workmanship.

U.S. Citizenship required with the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Defense Security Clearance.
