Position Overview
Our client is seeking a skilled Mechanical Equipment Technician to support a wide range of technical activities, including constructing, troubleshooting, repairing, maintaining, and calibrating mechanical equipment. This role operates under general supervision and requires solid technical knowledge, hands-on mechanical ability, and familiarity with diagnostic tools and instrumentation.
Key Responsibilities

Construct, troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and calibrate mechanical equipment in accordance with established procedures.

Utilize diagnostic tools, including multimeters and oscilloscopes, to identify and resolve issues.

Apply mechanical fundamentals, using standard tools and instruments to perform daily tasks.

Support vacuum and furnace system operations as required.

Maintain accurate documentation and follow all safety, quality, and compliance guidelines.

Perform additional duties as assigned to meet operational needs.
Qualifications

Degree in a relevant technology field, equivalent technical training, or a combination of training plus 3–5 years of related experience.

Hands-on experience using a multimeter and oscilloscope.

Strong knowledge of basic mechanical principles and proficiency with standard tools and instruments.

Experience with vacuum systems and furnace systems.

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently under general supervision.

U.S. Person status required under ITAR/EAR regulations, defined as one of the following:

U.S. citizen or U.S. national
