Mechanical Assembly Technician III

Position Summary

Responsibilities

• Perform precision mechanical assembly of machine parts into fixtures for brazing and welding operations
• Assemble components using technical drawings, work instructions, and documented procedures
• Handle small and delicate components with accuracy and care

Key Accountabilities

• Execute precision mechanical and hand assembly tasks
• Work with small parts; use of microscopes or magnifiers may be required
• Maintain quality, cleanliness, and safety standards
• Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 5–8 years of mechanical or hand assembly experience
• Proven ability to work in a clean manufacturing or mechanical assembly environment
• Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Familiarity with documented manufacturing procedures
• Good manual dexterity and attention to detail
• Comfortable working with small parts using microscopes or magnifiers
• Basic computer skills (MS Outlook, Excel, Word)
• Experience using mechanical hand tools and measurement equipment, including:
• Dial calipers
• Micrometers
• Height gauges
