
Description
Our client, a producer of innovative surface modification solutions, has an immediate opening for an Inspection Setup Technician. This role is responsible for the receipt, preparation, inspection, and certification of customer products prior to and following processing.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, clean, and set up customer product on processing fixtures
- Perform pre- and post-inspection of product to ensure quality standards
- Certify product per product release procedures (after training is complete)
- Package and ship finished products according to company standards
- Support production setup and assist in training as needed
- Assemble and troubleshoot simple mechanical apparatus
- Perform process verification for trial runs and provide documentation
- Operate in accordance with cleanroom procedures and ISO 13485 standards
- Use acidic and basic solutions for cleaning and processing as required
- Handle hazardous materials and dispose of them per safety guidelines
- Maintain accurate records and perform basic computer tasks
- Support wastewater treatment testing and hazardous waste disposal
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent (trade school experience preferred)
- Prior experience in an ISO 13485 or cleanroom environment strongly preferred
- Experience with handling acids, solvents, and bases safely
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Basic computer skills; familiarity with Office 365 preferred
- Fluent in written and spoken English
- Able to follow detailed instructions and process documentation
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Vision correctable to 20/20
- Able to stand for up to 2 hours and perform physical tasks including walking, bending, sitting, and squatting
- Able to lift up to 35 pounds at a table height of 36 inches
