Description
Our client, a manufacturer of control panels, has an immediate opening for a Control Panel Wirer. This position will be responsible for assembling and wiring control cabinets including components such as motor controls, cooling fans, and cabinet lighting.
Responsibilities:
- Install various internal components such as thermostats, temperature sensors, base plates, relays, and control modules
- Ensure all installations are completed cleanly and in accordance with printed engineering specifications and layout drawings
- Crimp connectors onto wire leads for point-to-point wiring of control circuits
- Perform wire routing, bundling, and labeling to maintain professional and organized panel layouts
- Assist in continuity and functional testing of wired control circuits to ensure proper operation
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and engineering blueprints accurately
Requirements:
- 3–5 years of wiring experience
- High School Diploma or GED
