
Description
Our client, a global joint preservation company, has an immediate opening for a Packaging Operator to join their team on the second shift. This role will operate within the framework of the company’s Quality System, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and procedural requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in initiatives and projects that support company growth and continuous improvement efforts
- Perform packaging operations in accordance with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), including visual inspection, pouching, labeling, and cartoning (manual and automated)
- Execute room sanitization procedures to uphold controlled environment standards
- Accurately document activities using Good Documentation Practices (GDP)
- Report procedural deviations and non-conformances promptly to management
- Maintain up-to-date training on all assigned procedures, including classroom training, skill development, and documentation reviews
- Complete tasks efficiently with a focus on quality, safety, and cost-effectiveness
Requirements:
- High School diploma or GED equivalent required; relevant industry experience may be considered in lieu of education
- Minimum of 6 months of hands-on experience working on a packaging or production line in a regulated environment (pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, etc.)
- Strong English communication skills—both written and verbal
- Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime, to meet production demands
- Proficient with basic computer tasks, including data entry and spreadsheet maintenance
