Manufacturing Technician II

Finish Line Staffing Services is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Technician II for our client. This hands-on manufacturing position will support the assembly, testing, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical and electromechanical equipment.

The ideal candidate has experience building complex equipment, working from engineering drawings and schematics, and troubleshooting issues in a production environment. This position will work closely with senior technicians and engineering teams to support manufacturing operations and identify opportunities for process and product improvements.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical and electromechanical assembly using engineering drawings, schematics, written procedures, and verbal instructions.
• Build and assemble mechanical components, electrical components, cables, and motion-control systems.
• Set up and perform documented testing of assemblies, subassemblies, and finished products.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues and perform corrections or repairs as directed.
• Test equipment and components under specified operating conditions, including cold-temperature environments.
• Collaborate with senior technicians and engineers to identify opportunities for process and product improvements.
• Assist with inventory activities as needed, including picking, put-away, cycle counts, and reconciliation.
• Maintain accurate manufacturing and testing documentation.
• Follow established production procedures and meet schedule commitments.
• Maintain clear and professional communication with engineering, manufacturing, and other team members.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years of experience assembling and testing electromechanical equipment or assemblies.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings and schematics.
• Basic mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Comfortable using and configuring PCs in a Windows environment.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet production schedules.
• Self-motivated, resourceful, and willing to learn.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
