Position Summary
We are seeking a hands-on Electrical / Electronic Assembly Technician to assemble, test, and package mission-critical electrical and electronic products for aerospace, U.S. military, and industrial customers. Key Responsibilities
- Assemble electrical and electronic systems using soldering, micro welding, riveting, and bolting techniques
- Build and route wire harnesses based on color coding, markings, and length requirements
- Crimp, seal, and solder connections while protecting cables with tubing and sealants
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, diagrams, and work orders
- Perform testing including continuity, resistance, and functional verification using calibrated equipment
- Troubleshoot, adjust, repair, or replace components to ensure products meet specifications
- Accurately document inspection and test results
- Clean and prepare components using approved procedures and methods
- Label finished products for inventory, storage, or shipment
- Package completed assemblies and move materials to storage or outbound staging
- Support team training and share best practices to improve quality and efficiency
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; technical trade school training preferred
- 1–3 years of electrical or electronic assembly experience preferred
- Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and assembly instructions
- Strong manual dexterity with the ability to perform detailed precision work
- Commitment to quality, accuracy, and following established procedures
- Completion of Predictive Index Behavioral and Cognitive Assessments required
Preferred Qualifications
- IPC or J-STD soldering certification
- Experience with cable and wire harness build-to-print assembly
- Familiarity with ESD-safe handling practices
- Experience using calibrated testing and measurement equipment
