Description

Overview:
Our client is seeking an experienced and motivated Sales Representative to help drive growth and expand market presence within the residential and electrical/HVAC sectors. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical knowledge with exceptional relationship-building skills to identify new opportunities, close sales, and maintain long-term client partnerships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a strong understanding of national energy codes and residential ventilation standards to identify and pursue new market opportunities.

  • Identify, contact, and engage prospective customers through proactive outreach and networking.

  • Plan and conduct product demonstrations for potential clients to showcase product value and performance.

  • Develop and nurture long-term relationships with existing customers to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.

  • Represent the company at industry trade shows and events, building meaningful connections with new and existing clients.

  • Stay informed on industry trends and competitor activities to anticipate market shifts and emerging opportunities.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to recommend marketing and sales strategies that effectively target key regions and demographics.

  • Conduct market research to support business development efforts and identify growth areas.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions, leads, and account activity within CRM systems.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of proven sales experience, ideally within the electrical or HVAC industries.

  • Strong working knowledge of industry products, systems, and market trends.

  • Demonstrated success in achieving or exceeding sales goals and performance metrics.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

  • Experience with lead generation and marketing strategy execution.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) or equivalent business software.

  • Willingness and ability to travel for trade shows, client meetings, and on-site demonstrations.
