Our client, a privately-held provider of safe, high-quality pharma treatments for patients needing customized formulations, is looking for an immediate addition to its team of experts.

The leader of warehouse and distribution is responsible for all aspects of raw material storage, distribution and transportation in an FDA regulated environment.  This position is responsible for internal and external warehousing.  The Sr. Manager will be responsible for the management of all warehousing and transportation of pharmaceutical products, compliance in all aspects of the operations and drive efficiencies and cost savings initiatives.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Oversee internal warehouses and external partners
• Manage team to provide efficient operations in warehousing and distribution that aligns with company objectives
• SME for transportation initiatives that will gain cost savings for the business
• Understand cGMP requirements and SOPs and ensure proper training and execution for staff
• Work cross functionally especially with Manufacturing and QA/AC partners to ensure processes are robust, adherence to compliance and ability to support Manufacturing deliverables
• Ability to articulate opportunities or risks to all levels of management and make recommendations to drive improvements and timely resolution
• Engage wholesalers as needed to ensure company is meeting their metrics that will drive continued revenue growth for the business
• Negotiate with outside warehouses and transportation carriers that secure favorable pricing, services and high quality standards
• Ownership of cycle counting program
• Define metrics that accurately measure operations and provide a dashboard view of current and future opportunities

Requirements:

• BS Degree
• 7+ years of warehousing & distribution experience in a GMP environment
• Demonstrated ability to implement processes and manage all aspects of warehousing and distribution
• Significant experience with WMS and ERP systems and functionality
• Strong leadership skills to develop teams and building cross functional relationships
• Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint). ERP software
