Our client, a medical device company, has an immediate opening for a Shipper/Receiver. This role will receive and inspect incoming shipments, verifying accuracy of contents against shipping documents.

Responsibilities:

• Unload and load trucks using a forklift or reach truck
• Use RF scanner to track inventory and update warehouse management system
• Prepare outgoing shipments, ensuring proper packaging and labeling
• Coordinate with carriers for pick-ups and deliveries
• Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing shipments
• Assist in inventory management, including cycle counts and stock replenishment

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in shipping and receiving preferred
• Basic math skills for inventory counting and calculations
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (AS400) and MRP systems
• Proficiency in operating a forklift or reach truck
• Ability to use RF scanner for inventory tracking
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to lift heavy packages (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks such as bending, stooping, and standing for extended periods
