Our client, a leader in the biomedical industry, has an immediate opening for a Senior Packaging Technician. This role will perform the mechanical set-up and breakdown of automated equipment in accordance with standard operation procedures, safety, and cGMP standards.

Responsibilities:

• Perform equipment troubleshooting activities addressing unexpected equipment performance
• Execute VHP sterilization cycles, including review of sterilization records for accuracy
• Manage electronic files requiring the loading and deletion of files required for variable printing of regulated information, including product artwork, in packaging operations
• Assist Engineering in labeling and packaging product validations and operation readiness
• Document work in batch records and forms
• Train and guide packaging personnel on daily tasks and proper operation of equipment
• Maintain current training on all assigned procedures to include read & understood, skills development, and classroom training activities as required

Requirements:

• Trade school diploma, technical certification, or equivalent experience
• 2+ years of high throughput automated equipment experience in the medical device/pharmaceutical industry requiring the maintenance of electronic files
• 2+ years of experience working with sterilization equipment, preferably VHP technology
• Experience working in a cleanroom wearing gowning apparel
• Ability to work flexible hours to complete work activities
• Previous experience as a group or team leader
• Demonstrated computer skills including the ability to create and maintain spreadsheets
• Previous experience maintaining ERP/MRP systems
