
Description
Our client, a company focused on spatial phenotyping, has an immediate opening for a Research Associate. This role will work alongside a highly skilled team on specialized multiplexing immunofluorescence stain.
Responsibilities:
- Perform general laboratory procedures including maintenance of laboratory equipment, managing inventory, and reagent preparation and documentation thereof in accordance with CLIA/CAP
- Maintain patient confidentiality according to HIPAA rules
- Collaborate with team members and other project staff to accomplish specific tasks and team objectives within project timelines. Provide timely feedback when dates for individual items cannot be met
- Follow company quality policy and safety practices, including training, lab safety, record keeping, and ISO or GLP as appropriate
- Be part of a team that is accountable for meeting scheduled completion dates in daily huddles and group meetings
Requirements:
- AS or BS Degree in Life Sciences
- 1 to 2 years of related experience in academia, research, or clinical laboratories
- Proficient with variety of computer software and applications
- Knowledge of basic laboratory procedures such as reagent preparation and documentation
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a fast-paced team environment, working on multiple projects with evolving priorities and deadlines
- Highly organized with attention to details and excellent information management, time management, and organization skills
- Experience with quality control/quality assurance procedures
