Position Summary:
Our client, a leading manufacturer in Webster, MA, is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Inspector to join their production team. This role is responsible for ensuring all products meet established quality and compliance standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and a proactive approach to problem solving.
Key Responsibilities:

Inspect mattresses for:
-
Proper cover fit and finishing
-
Law tag accuracy and compliance
-
Correct application of flame-retardant (FR) solutions per product specifications

Verify FR batching processes across quilting, FR socking, FR capping, and FR fabrics

Ensure all covering procedures are followed according to quality standards

Document inspection results, report findings, and assist in maintaining quality records

Perform root cause analysis and collaborate with team members to implement corrective actions
Requirements:

Minimum 1 year of quality control or inspection experience in a manufacturing environment

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities

High attention to detail and accuracy

Basic computer and math skills

Familiarity with measuring tools such as gauges, meters, and calipers

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Experience with documentation and reporting systems

Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus
