
Description
Our client, a global provider of diagnostics and engineering expertise for the energy industry, has an immediate opening for a Production Planner. This role is responsible for the schedule and flow of sales and production work orders through manufacturing including the issue of materials, manufacturing build, final test, and configuration.
Responsibilities:
- Manage sales and work order backlogs
- Prepare and coordinate sales orders for daily shipment
- Resolve production scheduling conflicts and coordinate changes with sales order administration, supply chain, and production
- Create Sales, Lease & Repair order shipment documentation packages, including calibration certificates, test data sheets, and customer specific documents
- Create custom forms and documents to meet customer-specific requirements
- Manage rush orders through the manufacturing production process
- Create daily and monthly Shipping & Production reports and distribute to the management team
- Responsible for code entries, operational reporting, and sales metrics in the ERP system
- Responsible for work order closure and invoicing in the Production ERP system
- Other duties as required
Requirements:
- High school diploma
- Associate degree or equivalent experience preferred
- Minimum of five years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- International/Customs cross border paperwork knowledge preferred
- Ability to express ideas clearly in both written and oral communications
- Familiar with Microsoft Office suite specifically Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook
- Working knowledge and experience with ERP systems. Familiarity with Epicor ERP is desired
