
Description
Our client, a fast-moving startup producing game-changing cooling solutions for aerospace, electric vehicles, and data centers, has an immediate opening for a Mechanical Technician. This role will assemble mechanical systems in accordance with procedures and help test and troubleshoot new designs and assemblies.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with engineering team, contributing to design ideas and improved products
- Leverage experience to help with the development or refinement of assembly procedures
- Administer environmental, reliability, thermofluidic tests; collect data and observations
- Lead complex troubleshooting and resolve critical technical issues
- Perform in-process quality checks on subassemblies and finished products
- Initiate corrective action to prevent nonconforming products from reaching the customer
- Utilize small hand tools, calibrated instruments, measurement equipment, microscopes, and test fixtures
- Contribute to and lead efforts/projects in the deployment, maintenance, and support of current and new mechanical systems
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of mechanical technician experience
- Minimum of 2 years experience in electrical/cabling projects
- Experience collaborating and partnering with teams
- Experience with manual and automatic data acquisition systems
- Demonstrated ability with hands-on builds/projects
- Ability to work independently and on small teams
- U.S. Citizenship is required
