Our client, a company focused on spatial phenotyping, has an immediate opening for a Logistics Coordinator. This job will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining the shipping dashboard and creating shipping schedules.

Responsibilities:

• Work with STEP scientists to ensure timely and accurate shipping of materials for completing customer orders
• Handle refrigerated, dry ice, and/or overnight shipments
• Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with the customer regarding shipping timelines and tracking information
• Prepare and maintain shipment paperwork, records, and digital databases
• Prepare orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in delivery area for pickup
• Coordinate with vendors to request quotes for antibodies and laboratory consumables
• Perform administrative support and attend meetings related to logistic and inventory
• Work with manager and team members to improve workflows and implement new strategies related to logistics
• Ensure a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, packing area, and workstations neat; maintain clean shipping supply area; comply with procedures, rules, and regulations
• Coordinate with health and safety for accurate waste disposal
• Perform additional duties as needed

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED with at least three years of experience in logistics management or a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or Logistics preferred, or the equivalent combination of education, experience, and/or training
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks accurately for long periods of time
• Ability to continuously stand and/or walk
• Ability to bend, squat, climb stairs, and lift up to 50 pounds frequently
• Proficiency in MS Office and database management
• Knowledge of inventory management and logistics elements
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Previous warehouse experience, such as knowledge in packaging and shipping standards
• Experience using a pallet jack
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to prioritize tasks and reprioritize throughout the day
