Our client, a provider of smart home technology, has an immediate opening for a Lighting Designer. This role will assist architects, builders, interior designers, electricians, and home owners with the choice of architectural lighting products from represented brands.

Responsibilities:

• Produce lighting plans with loads
• Specify fixtures
• Attend design meetings
• Attend job site meetings
• Produce wiring schedules
• Produce as-builts
• Participate in business plan discussions
• Attend classes and trade shows as required

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of direct experience in design and specification
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in lighting design or related field (such as architecture, engineering, or interior design)
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and other design software
• Project management experience
