Our client, a technology leader in delivering high-performance, market-driven photonic innovations to meet illumination, optical, optronic, sensing, detection and imaging needs, is seeking an Assembly Technician who is a highly skilled precision assembler that is able to assemble and manipulate small parts while monitoring real time video of movements.

Responsibilities:

• Perform bulb alignment using computer reticle
• Retrieve alignment files from computer to enable technician to align product
• Operate various resistance welding and Laser welding equipment
• Assemble and weld Sparker and other subassemblies using magnification light and/or microscope
• Work from and interpret drawings, work instructions, photos, pick lists, and routers
• Receive assignments to perform a wide variety of the most complex precision assembly operations, which may vary from day-to-day as required by Daily Build Plan
• Maintain point of use inventory and is responsible for its accuracy

Requirements:

• A high school diploma or equivalent
• Desire and drive to work in a fast-paced production environment
• Ability to manipulate and adjust small parts while viewing real time video image
• Ability to work with small parts using microscope and or magnification light
• Excellent hand/finger dexterity
• Mandatory for every employee to be adequately vaccinated against COVID-19
