King & Bishop, a leading recruiter and professional service organization, has an immediate opening for an Accounting Assistant.

Responsibilities:

• Keep financial records up-to-date
• Work with payroll serving as primary backup
• Keep DUA site up-to-date
• Record Contractor hours in PCR
• Process business transactions
• Fact-check invoices for payment and processing
• Monitor vendor statements
• Assist with Y/E Review, audits, forecasts, and other fiscal planning
• Post customer checks, vendor payments, and ACH payments
• Perform administrative and other tasks as needed

Requirements:

• Associate degree preferable or corresponding college work
• 3-5 years experience
• Knowledge of Quickbooks, Excel, Access, Paycom, or other Payroll Platform
• Self-motivated and self-directed
• Accurate and precise attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent time management skills; able to prioritize
• Strong aptitude for numbers, spreadsheets, and financial reports
