Immediate need for a Test Engineer!

Position Summary:

A Test Engineer with expertise with:

- Electroplating, coating and testing support for all product lines

- Creation of electroplating samples for laboratory testing and customer evaluation

- Perform testing to evaluate materials for compliance to specifications

- Preparation of chemical solutions and reagents for use in tests

- Record test results, consolidate and calculate test data

- Prepare test reports and communicate results

- Monitor process parameters and maintain equipment and materials within test specifications

Experience Level:

1-5 years laboratory experience minimum

Education BS in Chemistry, Materials Science or related field

Addition Skills Required:

- Familiarity with wet chemistry and standard laboratory techniques and procedures

- Familiarity with metallurgical test equipment, including SEM, XRF, and optical microscopy

- Familiarity with chemical coating processes and electrochemistry

- High attention to detail and ability to perform test protocols in a precise and repeatable way

- Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple projects

- Computer proficiency including MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) and Outlook
